This fortress of timbers created a welcome wind shelter while I painted out at the fishing pier in Martinez. The skewed towers seemed precariously tethered and bolstered against the strong currents of the Carquinez Strait. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord Panel, 12" x 12" in a maple floater frame.
