Ruth's folly grows like a tree beyond the lily pond, a favorite stop for garden visitors. Everyone loves the giant koi fish! Painted during my Fall 2024 artist residency at the beautiful Ruth Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek, California. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord panel, 12" x 12" in a maple floater frame. This painting will be part of "The Wonders of Plein Air" exhibit, May 3 - June 25, 2025 at the aRt Cottage in Concord, California.
