Media: Other Acrylic yarn on canvasboard, comes framed with a wood frame
Size: 8x10 in
This yarn art painting is a copy of an acrylic mixed-media painting I did many years ago, and is with a collector in California. This painting is about bright sunset colors. I wanted to express the sun's radiance with the concentric circles of 5 colors of yarns. The leaves are patterned from a tree that was in our backyard at the time. I am using yarn as if it were large brush-strokes to create an Impressionistic style. This piece is framed and ready to hang (that is why the price difference from those yarn paintings that are not framed yet do include a hanger.)
