My sister-in-law Alice needed me to come stay with her for a week due to a medical issue; so I took along an art kit to enjoy in between doctor and other trips. Here's what I put together: Alice loves to find little vases at thrift stores and create floral arrangements with fake flowers. She is very clever and artistic with them and I knew I would be painting with her florals as inspiration. Alice had this sweet little ceramic mouse pitcher in her bedroom. After I'd set up and created 2 other paintings she eagerly brought this piece to me obviously wanting me to paint it as well. It IS cute, and I thought it a fun challenge to draw and paint it.
