Media: Acrylic canvasboard, ready to frame
Size: 8x10 in
This started as an acrylic poured painting. After the pour was completed I could see something like a dragon emerging from waves. I added some extra light and darker paints on the dry pour to bring out the dragon even more, yet all I did was enhance the lines that were already there without adding any new lines. Pretty cool, huh!
Story: On November 8, 2018 the Camp Fire destroyed our home, offices, my art studio and all my art that was still in stock, over 175 pieces. In 2019 I had the opportunity to go to a studio and do some paint pouring. It was a wonderful way to be creative, have fun, and not think about the losses. As of this writing, it is July 2020, I have a new studio and am starting to create art again. This started as an acrylic poured painting.
