Close to the Plaça Ramon Llull, one of my favorite lively places of Majorca, lies the beautiful Valldemossa Charterhouse. It is one of the most visited attractions on the island. In 1838/39 Frederic Chopin spent a long winter here together with his plymate George Sand and composed his greatest tuberculosis hits ... or so.
