This is a view of the city of Buffalo from the observation tower at Erie Basin Marina. I took the reference photo last fall when I took a day off from work to take advantage of the warm weather. I spent the afternoon at the waterfront walking around and taking pictures. The walk to the top of the tower was part of my exercise for the day. When I got to the top there were a number of birders with binoculars and cameras on tripods taking pictures of the birds flying over Lake Erie.
