I had fun painting this jar of olives in an expressive manner. Most of the painting was completed in one session, while the paint was wet.I really like painting subject matter that I can eat, olives are a great addition to a sandwich! After I completed this painting I made a tofu sandwich with fresh picked basil. Basil is usually a summer thing, but I found a plant at my local supermarket. Anyway, the olives added a nice and salty kick to my lunch.Painting glass or transparent objects is usually a challenge but this was a fun painting. I especially liked the warm metallic highlight on the lid.
