I had a blast painting these waffles! This painting is from the #foodpaintchallenge on Instagram. (The reference photo of the waffles was provided as part of the challenge). I painted this yesterday after watching the eclipse. I decided that this should be painted in a loose watercolor style with lots of color. I like how the colors bleed into each other and a lot of nice spontaneous effects happened...I like how the butter looks like it's melting for instance. I had a blast painting these waffles!
