Second painting for DPW's "Snow challenge". A dusting of snow covers the tops and crevices of the red and ochre canyon rocks. A lovely portrayal of natures contrasts.(I have been asked a few times, where this might be. I painted it from a picture I took in Bryce Canyon , I believe, as I visited several of the beautiful Utah canyons. It was late fall a few years ago, after an early dusting of snow.)
