This is a scene painted of a nursery near where I live. The owner has sown some of his fields with yellow mustard, which has started to bloom. This is such a spectacular scene with the cascade foothills and evergreen trees in the background, that I had to paint it. I love these bright sunny wildflowers and often fill a vase with their loveliness.
