When taking an evening walk, I crossed this river and was stunned by the beautiful pastel colors in the sky and reflected in the water. I stood there on the bridge and absorbed the beauty committing to memory every detail that I could. I quickly painted in the basic colors and then spent the next few days with details. I know this painting looks almost like a fantasy scene, but it is very close to the reality.
