Painted this from a photo I took last summer while traveling through S.E. Oregon's beautiful high desert from the Nevada border to Burns. The scenery is often so spectacular that photos and paintings can hardly capture the scope and actual beauty in such a confined space as a canvas. While traveling I was often reminded of the words of a song which I used as the title.
