This is the fourth of a series of four desert still life paintings that I did this summer when I was camped in the National Grasslands in Central Oregon. I was very fascinated by the red and amber rocks, the dried juniper branches and the lovely flowers and grasses that seem to flourish in this more or less arid landscape.
