Painted at the Audobon Center at Chatfield this past Friday morning. On Thurs. we weren't so sure we'd be going. It was raining like crazy and the skies were socked in. Woke up Friday morning to an overcast sky but forecast was saying the rain would hold off until late morning. So, we met up at 7:30 am, hiked around for an hour or two then settled in to paint. Green, green, green every direction. Along with lots of wildlife. Overcast most of the time but the air was perfectly cool. Packed it up around 11:00.
