My Fling the Paint group met up this past Friday. It was Gwen's turn to bring the still life set-up. I wiped this poor bear out 3 times before I got the proportions and angle of him correct. The lighting was pretty spread out so we didn't end up with much contrast but overall I think it works. I experimented with the background. I laid in an orange to compliment the blues. I then painted a cooler dark over the top of the orange leaving some of the orange exposed. Who would ever thought I'd be painting Teddy Bears, hah Fun in exploring the variety of textures between the fur, cloth, background, etc. My Fling the Paint group met up this past Friday.
