Violet and I explored a trail that I've seen just outside of my neighborhood for several years but have just never taken the time to check it out. A couple of weeks ago we did it and we were rewarded. For me, several great areas to set up and paint the cottonwoods, willows and right now, snow banks. Crazy Violet found a pool of frozen icy water that she could not resist, running, jumping and rolling around in it. Nearly pulled me down with her. I came back last week with my paints and made myself chose a spot right away.
