This spot is just across the highway from my neighborhood. It's filled with junk,tires, cars, trailers and so. It's always intrigued me as it sits right up in front ofthe foothills and the shadows and lighting are so cool.Today I drove over once again to see if I could figure out a place to set up.It's kind of creepy. In full view of the highway it still feels like ya just shouldn't be there.I ended up painting in my car. Partially because it was pretty cold but maybe it felt just a little safer. About an hour in this car pulls out from behind the fencing, drives up right in front of me. Yikes, no way out!This woman gets out, comes over to my door, I'm trying to quickly put on my mask and figure out how to roll my window down, duh. I'm not kidding, she looked like Cruella Deville."Well, she says "We just want to know what you're doin' Honey?". I showed her the painting, she shakes her head, takes a drag from her cigarette and leaves.Several more cars in and out of there. Some pulling over, thank god they didn't get out. I'm thinking the place is a little sketch as my grand-daughter would say, lol@sheilamarieart
