Thurs. started out a little overcast but by mid-morning the sky was clearing. Although sunny, the temp hovered around freezing. I ran over to Red Rocks to see if I could bear the cold long enough to capture something, anything. Those of you familiar with Red Rocks probably know exactly where I was standing. Pretty simple design, big shapes, I lasted almost 2 hrs. Put a lot of the paint down with a palette knife so I could cover the canvas quickly. Then in with the brush and pull it together.
