Last week's Fling the Paint still life setup proved to be a challenge for all of us. I started with the intent to include all the items set in front of us. That espresso pot and that spoon was drawn several times. After an hr or more I changed my position, where I stood. This time it worked out pretty well. I wasn't able to finish while there and thought I had a photo from the angle I was painting from. Turns out I didn't have a photo from that new view. I did have all the color notes down. I set up at home later that day and worked as best I could from memory. I do like moving in close to these setups and designing a painting from a different perspective rather than just the traditional straight on view. @sheilamarieart Last week's Fling the Paint still life setup proved to be a challenge for all of us.
