I painted this just north of Alamosa, CO. I was coming home from Taos and loved the scene with the distant ranch and out buildings. A storm was building up. First it appeared as if it was going to move east. But after 45 min. or so it turned and headed south. Straight at me. Finished quickly and just barely got packed up before it poured.
