On Hold
Grabbed a couple hours yesterday to paint at Harriman Lake not far from where I live. When I arrived it was sunny and warm. But boy, just a few minutes after setting up my easel the clouds rushed in, covered the sun and the wind was persistent. Setting up close to my car I was able to reach in and grab layer after layer trying to fend off the cold. After a couple of hours I'd had enough. The sky just continued to darken, the wind becoming stronger. When first coming upon the scene there was a lot of separation of the layers of trees and vegetation going back into the scene. Once those clouds took over it all just blended together. Grabbed a couple hours yesterday to paint at Harriman Lake not far from where I live. When I arrived it was sunny and warm.
