Broken Top Volcano Bend Oregon is one of the Ring of Fire series of volcano paintings I did at the beginning of 2020. This volcano is part of the Three Sisters volcano complex near Bend, Oregon. The stratovolcano has been heavily eroded by glaciers over the centuries. It is one of many volcanoes in the Cascade Volcanic Arc along the west coast of the United States and Canada. The title of this work is "Broken Top' and was painted by me, Gregory Cross, on April 7, 2020. It was painted with Golden heavy body acrylics on a 16 inches tall x 20 inches wide Artist's Loft stretched cotton canvas. The painting has been varnished with Golden water base satin finish varnish. I usually ship a painting the next business day after your purchase but please allow me 2 days handling just in case. And I try very hard to get the colors in the photos as close to the actual painting as I can, but they may still be slightly different from the physical painting. Digital cameras don't pick up certain colors very well and often change the look of a painting slightly. So, understand that the photos are edited. Thank you for taking the time to view my painting and read this description. Broken Top Volcano Bend Oregon is one of the Ring of Fire series of volcano paintings I did at the beginning of 2020.
