Media: acrylic on stretched canvas
Size: 8x10 in
This painting was an experiment in using cool colors. I tried to use only cool colors: blues, greens, greys, throughout the entire painting. The bridge abutment on the right was intended to block the eye from leaving the painting. One of the composition tricks I used in this one. Title: Under the Bridge Artist: Gregory Cross Date Painted: September 14, 2019. Description: This is an original acrylic landscape painting of a two men sitting under a bridge beside a breakwater. Materials: It was painted with Golden heavy body acrylics on a 8 inch tall x 10 inch wide x 1.5 inches thick Blick Premiere Gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted and it is varnished, so it does not need a frame. It is already wired to hang on the wall. Notes: The painting is signed G Cross on the front, and has the artist's full signature, painting number, and the date it was painted on the back. Please understand colors may vary between the actual painting and the digital image on your screen due to my digital camera's results and your monitor's settings.
