On Hold
Danny Trejo in Company Hat is a portrait I did of the iconic actor and philanthropist. In the portrait he is wearing a Trejo's Tacos hat representing one of his many enterprises. I decided to paint him because the man has such an interesting face and I enjoyed painting this. Though my main art focus is landscape paintings, I do like to do portraits of interesting people occasionally. And Danny Trejo actually liked this one. I tagged him on Instagram and he responded, so I was exceptionally pleased. The painting is done in Golden heavy body acrylics on a 20 inches tall x 16 inches wide Blick Premiere gallery wrapped, stretched cotton canvas. Meaning that, with the sides painted as they are, you can hang it on a wall without a frame. The painting is varnished with a satin finish and already wired to hang, In fact, it is currently hanging on my wall. Once you receive and unpackage it, you can hang it immediately. The painting is signed G. Cross on the front and has my signature, contact information, date painted, and the painting number on the back. It is an original piece painted by me, Gregory Cross, on November 8, 2019. The photography was also done by me and I am a much better artist than I am a photographer. I have tried to make the colors in the digital images as close to the actual painting as I can but digital cameras do not pick up some colors very well. So, the images you see have been edited. Expect a little bit of difference in the colors when you see the actual painting, but not much. My experience is that the actual art looks a lot better in person than in a photo anyway. I am so pleased that you have taken the time to view my painting and read this description. I gladly invite you to view the rest of my wonderful art on Etsy at https://www.etsy.com/shop/GregoryCrossArtRoam Danny Trejo in Company Hat is a portrait I did of the iconic actor and philanthropist.
