Cascade Volcano Mount Adams Washington is one of the Ring of Fire series of volcano paintings I did in early 2020. The title and subject of this work is Mount Adams. Located in south central Washington state, Mt Adams is in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. And though Mt Adams is only 33 miles due west of Mt Saint Helens, which erupted in 1988, it is considered a low level threat as far as dormant volcanoes go. This painting was created by me, Gregory Cross, on February 5, 2020. It was painted with Golden heavy body acrylics on a 16 inches tall x 20 inches wide Artist Loft stretched cotton canvas. The painting is varnished to a satin finish. the next business day after your purchase but please allow me 2 days handling just in case. Though I try very hard to get the colors in the photos as close to the actual painting as I can, they may still be slightly different from the physical painting. Digital cameras don't pick up certain colors very well and often change the look of a painting slightly. So, understand that the photos are edited. Thank you for taking the time to view my painting and read this description. Cascade Volcano Mount Adams Washington is one of the Ring of Fire series of volcano paintings I did in early 2020.
