Professor lecturing class acrylic abstact painting is a work I created in early 2020. I like to use palette knives to randomly spread paint on a canvas to see the results. This one appears to me as a professor presenting a lecture, probably because I did that for so many years. Anyway, the beauty of abstract art is you can decide you see whatever you like in the image. The name of this work is "The Lesson" and it is an original painting created by me, Gregory Cross, on January 13, 2020 using Golden acrylic paints on a Blick Premiere stretched gallery style canvas. The painting is varnished with Golden water based satin finish varnish. The painting already has hanging hardware attached so you can hang it as soon as you receive it. Though I try very hard to get the colors in the photos as close to the actual painting as I can, they may still be slightly different from the physical painting. Digital cameras don't pick up certain colors very well at all and often change the look of a painting. So, understand that the photos are edited. Thank you for taking the time to view my painting and read this description.
