This is an original acrylic landscape painting of an old Texas settler's house. The house is one of several in the San Antonio Botanical Garden. This was painted with Golden heavy body acrylics on a Blick Premier stretched cotton canvas. The painting is signed G Cross on the front and has my full signature, painting number, and the date it was painted on the back. Please understand colors may vary slightly between the actual painting and the image on your screen due to my digital camera's results and your monitor. Gregory Cross has had paintings on exhibit at the San Antonio Public Library, Bihl Haus Art Gallery, and now in a second annual exhibit at the Elvira Cisneros Senior Center. He also was one of the artists who painted the 60 foot x 6 foot San Antonio Tricentennial Mural. Art critics have described his work as surrealistic but with the charm of the everyday; full of visual surprises with anti-gravity, wittiness, and irony. His paintings have sold in many countries. Artist note: My artwork has been liked by Danny Trejo, the movie and voice actor; by the movie actress Holly Horner; by the famous Japanese artist and teacher Harumichi Shibasaki; the famous artist and art teacher Malcolm Dewey; and by YouTube personalty and artist Liron Yanconsky.
