Abstract grayscale mountain coastline is basically a value study done large. During early 2019 I was playing with different effects in my art and have since created several grayscale paintings, especially portraits. It is actually a bit of a fun challenge to paint without color. This piece is titled "Grayscale Hills" and was painted by me, Gregory Cross, on February 28, 2019 using Golden heavy body acrylic paints on a Fredrix Pro series linen over wood panel. It was varnished with Golden water based satin varnish. I almost always ship a painting within a business day of purchase but please allow me 2 days in case of unforeseen delays.
