Title: Portrait of Spook Doll Artist: Gregory Cross Dimensions: 12 inches tall x 9 inches wide Date created: May 7, 2020 Description: This is an original, unframed, watercolor fantasy portrait painting of a scary vampire doll. Materials used: This was painted with Daniel Smith Extra Fine watercolors on Arches 140 lb, cold pressed, watercolor paper. Notes: The painting is signed G Cross on the front; and has my full signature, the painting number, and the date it was painted on the back. Please understand colors may vary between the actual painting and the digital image on your screen due to my digital camera's results and your monitor's settings. Artist note: My artwork has been liked by Danny Trejo, the movie and voice actor; by the movie actress Holly Horner; by the famous Japanese artist and teacher Harumichi Shibasaki; the famous artist and art teacher Malcolm Dewey; and by YouTube personalty and artist Liron Yanconsky. I have had paintings on exhibit at the San Antonio Public Library, Bihl Haus Art Gallery, and curently in the year long at the Elvira Cisneros Senior Center for the second time. I also was one of the artists who painted the 60 foot x 6 foot San Antonio Tricentennial Mural. Art critics have described my work as surrealistic but with the charm of the everyday; full of visual surprises with anti-gravity, wittiness, and irony. My paintings have sold in many countries.
