Crushed blue Solo cup against an orange background is my response to a painting challenge from January 2020. The challenge was to paint a crinkled cup or some other wadded up trash. It had to have creases and surfaces at various angles. This painting is my entry for that challenge. Titled "Crumpled Blue Cup" it is painted with Golden heavy body acrylics on a Centurion LX stretched linen canvas. It was painted by me, Gregory Cross, on January 9, 2020. The sides of the canvas are also painted orange and the painting is varnished so you can hang it without a frame once you receive it. Should you wish to do so, let me know and I can attached the hanging hardware for you at no extra cost. I normally get a painting in the mail the next business day after purchase, but always ask for 2 days just in case. However, if you wish for me to add the hanging hardware, please allow me two extra days. Probably won't need them, but I do not want to do a rush job on it. Though I try very hard to get the colors in the photos as close to the actual painting as I can, they may still be slightly different from the physical painting. Digital cameras don't pick up certain colors very well and often change the look of a painting slightly. So, understand that the photos are edited.
