Common Redpoll North American red finch is an acrylic painting of this wonderfully elusive bird. Its habitat is the far north, mostly in Canada, and seldom seen except in winter when it will frequent backyard bird feeders. The title of the painting is "Common Redpoll" and it was painted by me, Gregory Cross, on April 29, 2019. It was painted with Golden heavy body acrylics on a Centurion LX linen over wood panel. The painting was varnished with Golden satin finish water based varnish. I usually mail the painting the next business day after purchase, but I always ask for two days handling just in case. Though I try very hard to get the colors in the photos as close to the actual painting as I can, they may still be slightly different from the physical painting. Digital cameras don't pick up certain colors very well and often change the look of a painting slightly. So, understand that the photos are edited. Thank you for taking the time to view my painting and read this description. Common Redpoll North American red finch is an acrylic painting of this wonderfully elusive bird.
