Occasionally, I make up a scene in my head and try to map it out on a canvas. And, when I can't think of a good name, I just number it. Here is a painting that I created from modify an photo and combining it with an idea. I started by wanting anohter painting like Devil's Horns but couldn't find a suitable image. So, like a good artist, I made it up. Title: Mountain #6 Artist: Gregory Cross Date Painted: February 5, 2021. Description: This is an original acrylic landscape painting of mountains behind a high ridge. Materials: It was painted with Golden heavy body acrylics on a 11 inch tall x 14 inch wide Centurion LX linen panel. Notes: The painting is signed G Cross on the front, and has the artist's full signature, painting number, and the date it was painted on the back. Please understand colors may vary between the actual painting and the digital image on your screen due to my digital camera's results and your monitor's settings.
