King John's Bridge Tewksbury England is a watercolor painting I did of an ancient bridge in Great Britain. To get ideas and inspiration, I watch a lot of YouTube. I like walk about videos, cab view train videos, narrow boat videos, and ship spotting videos. I get to see a lot of scenery in these videos and I will often pause the video to save the image for future reference. This painting came from such a technique. During a narrowboat video about traveling England's canals, I saw this bridge. I researched several views of it, then created this scene for the painting. Titled "King John's Bridge" this is a original watercolor that I, Gregory Cross, painted on January 4, 2021. It is painted with Daniel Smith Extra Fine watercolors on a 9 inches tall x 12 inches wide sheet of Arches 140 lb, cold press watercolor paper. It is signed G. Cross on the front and has my full signature, contact information, date painted, and painting number on the back. The painting is matted and framed using a black wood Ambiance gallery frame that is 10.25 inches tall x 13.25 inches wide x 1.5 inches thick. The painting is ready to hand the moment you receive it. I normally get a painting in the mail the next business day after purchase, but always ask for 2 days just in case. Though I try very hard to get the colors in the photos as close to the actual painting as I can, they may still be slightly different from the physical painting. Digital cameras don't pick up certain colors very well and often change the look of a painting slightly. So, understand that the photos are edited. Thank you for taking the time to view my painting and read this description.
