Single Rose in a crystal vase is an acrylic still life that I painted in early 2019. I was experimenting with painting glass as well as red flower against green background. I have tried the idea of a single red or orange flower against a dark green background several time. Recently I did several more that have yet to be listed. The title of this piece is "The Rose" and it is an original work painted by me, Gregory Cross, on May 17, 2019 using Golden heavy body acrylic paints on a Centurion LX series linen over wood panel. The painting is varnished with Golden waterbased satin finish varnish. The frame is a black wood Ambiance studio frame which is 15.25 inches tall x 12.25 inches wide x .75 inches deep. It has factory framing hardware already attached and is ready to hang on you wall as soon as you receive it. I almost always ship a painting within a business day of purchase but please allow me 2 business days in case of unforeseen delays.
