Mount Bachelor Inactive Volcano Oregon is a painting of the Ring of Fire series I did at the beginning of 2020. The mountain was named bachelor because it is not part of the nearby Three Sisters Volcano complex. In fact, it is the northern most volcano of the Mount Bachelor Volcanic Chain consisting of several cinder cones, buttes and shield volcanoes. Another interesting fact is that Mount Bachelor is a stratovolcano situated on top of an older shield volcano. Titled "Mount Bachelor" this work was created by me, Gregory Cross, on April 13, 2020. Painted with Golden heavy body acrylics on a 16 inches tall x 20 inches wide Artist's Loft stretched cotton canvas. The painting is varnished with a satin finish. The included frame is a black wood Ambiance gallery frame. The painting is framed and will be ready to hang the instant you unpackage it. I usually get a painting in the mail the next business day after you buy it, but I always ask for 2 days just in case. Though I try very hard to get the colors in the photos as close to the actual painting as I can, they may still be slightly different from the physical painting. Digital cameras don't pick up certain colors very well and often change the look of a painting slightly. So, understand that the photos are edited.
