Description: This is an original acrylic Ring of Fire volcano landscape painting of Mount Saint Helens before and after the 1980 eruption. Materials: It was painted with Golden heavy body acrylics on a Paramount Premium stretched cotton canvas and varnished with a satin finish. Notes: The painting is signed G Cross on the front; and has my full signature, the painting number, and the date it was painted on the back. Please understand colors may vary between the actual painting and the digital image on your screen due to my digital camera's results and your monitor's settings. Artist note: My artwork has been liked by Danny Trejo, the movie and voice actor; by the movie actress Holly Horner; by the famous Japanese artist and teacher Harumichi Shibasaki; the famous artist and art teacher Malcolm Dewey; and by YouTube personalty and artist Liron Yanconsky. I have had paintings on exhibit at the San Antonio Public Library, Bihl Haus Art Gallery, and curently in the year long at the Elvira Cisneros Senior Center for the second time. I also was one of the artists who painted the 60 foot x 6 foot San Antonio Tricentennial Mural. Art critics have discribed my work as surrealistic but with the charm of the everyday; full of visual surprises with anti-gravity, wittiness, and irony. My paintings have sold in many countries.
