Media: watercolor on paper
Size: 9x12 in
English boarding school framed watercolor painting is a work I did at the end of summer in 2020, Based on a vintage black and white photograph dating from the early 1930s, the painting shows a boarding school in England. The title of this piece is "The Boarding School" and it is an original watercolor created by me, Gregory Cross. I painted it on September 3, 2020 using Daniel Smith Extra Fine watercolors on a 9 inches tall x 12 inches wide sheet of Arches 140 lb, cold pressed watercolor paper. I ship paintings via the US Postal Service Priority Mail within the United States. I normally ship the day after I receive the order but it does sometimes take two days. And, though I try very hard to get the colors in the photos as close to the actual painting as I can, they may still be slightly different from the physical painting. Digital cameras don't pick up certain colors very well and often change the look of a painting slightly. So, understand that the photos are edited. Thank you for taking the time to view my painting and read this description.
