Glacier Peak Volcano Washington Cascades is one of the Ring of Fire series of volcano paintings I did in early 2020. This particular mountain is less than 30 miles from where I grew up and lived until I was 18 years old. Even so, it is very hard to get to, as it is the most isolated mountain in the state of Washington. It lies about 15 miles due north of Steven's Pass in the heart of the high Cascade range. The title of this work is "Glacier Peak" and it was painted by me, Gregory Cross, on March 2, 2020. It was painted with Golden heavy body acrylics on a 16 inches tall x 20 inches wide Artist's Loft stretched cotton canvas and varnished with a satin finish. I usually ship a painting the next business day after your purchase but please allow me 2 days handling just in case. And I try very hard to get the colors in the photos as close to the actual painting as I can, but they may still be slightly different from the physical painting. Digital cameras don't pick up certain colors very well and often change the look of a painting slightly. So, understand that the photos are edited. Thank you for taking the time to view my painting and read this description. Glacier Peak Volcano Washington Cascades is one of the Ring of Fire series of volcano paintings I did in early 2020.
