Media: Professional pigments on 140# HP watercolor paper, masked border

This is a variety of Agave filifera as best I can ascertain. I found it in a Surprize, AZ, mall parking lot. I went to the the Desert Botanical Garden yesterday to try and ID it but there were none that match exactly this specimen. I'm assuming this is some sort of nursery landscape hybrid. Anyway, it caught my fancy so I painted it.The painting shows live blossoms and leaves along with the dried husks and seeds within them. This is a variety of Agave filifera as best I can ascertain.
