Bosc pears are never a taste disappointment, they come through with solid sweetness every time. They always seem to be tasty even if they're hard as rocks which they can sometimes be when they aren't quite ripe. I like their round, voluptuous shapes, the rusty golden bronze and dusty yellow green of their matte finished skins. These pears were just waiting to be painted and called me as I strolled through the produce aisles at the market. Beauty talks, you know.
