This specimen of a Brazilian evergreen is different from any with which I'm acquainted . Its 'needles' are like small leaflets, the cones are dense, almost reptilian in its surface texture. The tree is a bright green-yellow. I gathered this dried branch and cone from beneath the tree that shed them. I'll learn its name soon and add it to the paintingand its title.
