This is one of the works I do to celebrate my love for AFRO hair! I simply love it!
This particular piece was done in mixed media on canvas board. I have used acrylic, pastel, charcoal and watercolour. I have done a whole series of drawings and paintings on this theme. Sometimes I have used friends as models and sometimes I have used total strangers. Once I see a person with a brilliant AFRO, my heart skips a beat and I go on begging for a snap shot or a possible sitting in my studio!
