I painted this alongside the students today at the Open Studio, at Heatherleys. I'll be teaching there for 3 weeks- Tuesday and Thursday. Contact Heatherleys if you interested in participating. I dressed him up today like an Arab, inspired by Sargent Arab. I had to get an 18 metre long cotton strip to tie that head piece after many tutorials on YouTube. I used the outside-in technique to paint this piece.
