Portrait Deliberate Practice Series 31/250.
This one was painted entirely from a sketch I did on public transport. I had to improvise with the colours. I tried to keep it sketchy and lively with a bit of force! I was on the train home when I spotted this chap, he looked excellent with a bronze like skin tone and 'gingerish' hair. There was no way on earth that I was going to miss this one, so I sketched with speed and enthusiasm! I must try more directly from sketches.
