Well it doesn't really matter what colour He was, the most important thing is that He died to set us free!This is the final one of Arnold for this particular sitting. He has been a terrific model and hopefully we'll have him again when we meet in February at the Open Studio again.
I used the outside-In technique - starting off with no sketch, I just went straight into painting, blocking in the various shapes and finishing the details where necessary.
