It was a dark and stormy day…at least as far as my laptop was concerned. This painting perfectly represents the day I was having when I took a break to paint this scene. It had been a monumentally frustrating day, which ended with me having to erase and restore my entire hard drive. The dark, stormy clouds represent the struggle I experienced most of the day and the glimpses of light in the sky remind me that these things pass and there are happier times ahead.
