I love drama! At least I love it when it’s played out in the dramatic contrast of light and shadow as you can see in this painting. This is based on a beautiful valley I saw while driving along the coast of the Isle of Skye. It was such a peaceful pastoral scene with sheep grazing in the meadows and the light and shadow playing along the mountain behind.
