I thought I would be back in the states by now but I am still in Newfoundland, Canada due to a medical emergency involving my travel companion. The emergency has passed and hopefully we will be leaving sometime soon. In the meantime, I’ve been hiking at some of the beautiful places in St. John’s. They have been experiencing what they consider a heat spell (low 80’s) with sunshine replacing the ubiquitous cold and fog, so I’ve gotten some good photos of the beautiful, cold blue water on the coast here. Almost everywhere I look there is wonderful inspiration for a landscape artist.
