We found the Isle of Raasay by accident when we couldn’t find a vacancy on the Isle of Skye, one of our favorite areas in Scotland. The Isle of Raasay, one of the islands making up the Inner Hebrides, is smaller than Skye and also more quiet, less touristy, but I think just as beautiful. It ended up being a very lucky find for us. This painting is looking across the Sound of Raasay at the east coast of Skye.
